Since 1990 Healy's Builder Melbourne has been recreating period weatherboards for renovating projects throughout Australia. Proudly restoring homes to their Original Glory by maintaining the heritage integrity as well as protecting the value of your home.
"As a registered builder myself, I found that I often required period shaped weatherboards - and just like you, I couldn't locate them anywhere."
"So that's where it began. With the help of my father who has more than 40 years experience in wood machining, we set out to reproduce the weatherboards of yesteryear."
Based in Melbourne, Healy's Builder specialise in the manufacture of period style timber weatherboards and shingles for supply throughout Australia. We keep most popular styles in stock and can generally dispatch within 5 -10 working days. No job is too big or small.
Our Process
We often get contacted by clients with drawings or descriptions of period elements of their home that they are trying to locate. We do our best to firstly identify the element and then both provide and install it to help return the home to its original glory.
Below is an example of a drawing we received from a hopeful client. We were able to recognize that this diagram was describing a Regency Mould Weatherboard and were able to match it as close as practically possible.
